Hey guys, at the moment there is only 2 Modern Warfare games out. This month Activison is going to be announcing Modern Warfare 3.

100 TB Per Second Fibre Optics

Hey guys, As you know there is a woman who has 40GBps Internet Connection and now in Japan there is 100TBps.

In Japan the 100TB internet connection is in 2 fibre optic wires. The cable is the length of 165 Kilometres  long and at the speed of 101TB. Imagine that for your torrents or online gaming lol. The game play and downloads with be INSANE!

In my opinion  of 100TB connection I hope that this speed comes out to the public in the next year or so. This would be such a massive speed to have and something I have never thought possible especially when we are just going up to 100-200GBps internet speeds.

If this 100TBps internet came out depending on the price I would definitely buy it and enjoy it to the extreme! lol

Leave a comment about what you think of this insane connection speed and if you would get it or not.

Peace

WOW V RIFT

Hey guys, as you know World of Warcraft has been out now for 6-7 years and is dominating the MMO market and a new comer has shown up a few months ago.

People are saying Rift is the next Warcraft and even some of the staff from Blizzard left to work for Trion.

Rift is getting lots of customers with its game and I feel that comes from its unique feel to stuff you can do in the game. You are able to find artifacts, get more intense battles and a PvP system that gives you a simulated feel to a battle.

In my opinion Warcraft will be a very difficult game to over achieve due to its lifetime and all the people playing it. Where Rift is new and could have a fighting chance to be very successfully.

I want to know what you guys feel about these two games and which one is best in your opinion.

Peace out

Sony says sorry for Cyber Hack

Sony’s top brass have finally provided a humbling mea culpa to the 77m users potentially affected by the biggest security breach in cyber history which has left users personal data and possibly credit card details open to abuse by hackers.

Kazuo Hirai, president of Sony's computer entertainment division, said at a press conference in Tokyo. “We apologise deeply for causing great unease and trouble to our users.”

He continued. "We take the security of our consumers' information very seriously and are committed to helping our consumers protect their personal data. I see my work as first making sure Sony can regain the trust of our users.

As the financial ramifications of the hack start to become clear, Sony has admitted that compensating customers forced to cancel their credit cards may affect profits.

Sony have already offered one month's free access to its users to deter them from leaving for alternative services, such as Microsoft's Xbox Live.

Much of the criticism has centred on the six-day delay in announcing the unprecedented security breach, in case it deflected attention away from the release of two Sony Android tablets that were announced last week, a charge that was flatly denied.

The company said PlayStation Network, which gives users the opportunity play each other online and download games and music will resume this week. The service, which in the UK has an estimated 3m players, has been offline since April 20.

Google Chrome still better than Internet Explorer!

Google Chrome is still on top of Internet Explorer and is taking a big bite out of Microsoft's market share.

Figures have just came through from Net Applications and it has shown that since September 2008 when Chrome was launched that it has took 12% of the market. The reason this has happened is from Google launching its Operating system on Samsung and Acer netbooks this summer.

Last month Chrome gained 11.9% of the market up 0.4% where Internet Explorer was still losing its shares of the market.

going form 55.9% to 55.1% in a month showing that Internet Explorer is beginning to lose the market. Safari is also going up from 6.6% to 7.1% in the last month and Firefox losing a slight amount of shares form 21.8% to 21.6%

All I can say is I'm glad Chrome is getting up there as I feel its a great Browser and others seem to be robbing its features (IE 9).

Channel 4 launch 4OD iPad app for on-the-go streaming

Channel 4 follow BBC with iPad catch up app
Channel 4 has followed in the footsteps of its BBC branded competitor and launched an iPad app for its on-demand streaming service, 4oD.

Attempting to emulate the success of the BBC’s iPlayer app, Channel 4 has launched 4oD Catch Up, an ad-funded iPad specific app that will allow users to access, browse and stream a selection of the service on-demand video content.
"Collectively, connected TV is an interesting opportunity and in aggregation is a significant market, but at the moment it's all pretty fragmented,” announced Channel 4’s head of Video on Demand, Sarah Milton at the launch of the new iPad application. She added: "There's little in the way of consistent formats and we need some degree of scalability and longevity. The manufacturers are also continually developing new versions of their products."

With the 4oD service now firmly footed on Apple’s market dominating tablet, focus shifts to future outlets for the catch up service with Microsoft’t Xbox Live platform a reported front runner.

"It is taking a progressive view and opening up the platform to a number of people," stated an anonymous insider at the public service broadcaster.

"Broadcasters are interested in securing a presence on Xbox because they have all seen how well Sky has done from the distribution deal. And there has been an internal shift to making it easier for them to get onto the platform."

Nokia tablet to take 'unique perspective' on iPad rival

Smartphone company's CEO says they are looking at a range of operating systems.
Nokia is taking a deliberately cautious approach to the tablet market according to its CEO, Stephen Elop.

Despite currently focussing much of its efforts on perfecting its first Windows Phone 7 handsets Elop has revealed in a Finnish television interview that Nokia is officially thinking about the form its tablet should take."We could take advantage of Microsoft technology and software, and build a Windows-oriented tablet, or we could do things with some of the other software assets that we have,” explained a non-committal Elop.

In Elop’s defence, despite the projected boom in the tabloid markets most companies have found it a tough nut to crack, not least Motorola who’s Xoom tablet sold just 300,000 units in its first quarter.
By holding its cards close to its chest, Nokia has the benefit of seeing what works and whilst still holding the potentially crucial choice between Windows, Symbian or MeeGo operating systems to make.
“There are now over 200 different tablets on the marketplace, only one of them is doing really well," added Elop.
"We have to take a uniquely Nokia perspective and so the teams are working very hard on something that would be differentiating relative to everything else that's going on in the market."

Android free apps overtakes iPhone free apps

Apple still leading the charge on overall app front
Android has overtaken Apple in the free apps department after research showed that the Android Market now boasts 134,342 compared to the Apple App Store's 121,845.

The findings come courtesy of a report compiled by analytics research company Distimo who also revealed that while Android may have a bigger free app stash, it is still some way behind the iPhone and the Apple Store in terms of overall apps available.

Distimo does however expect the Android Market to swell in size becoming the largest store in around five months time.

Interestingly for iPad users, apps have grown to 75,755 applications in the past month, with 34,120 now optimized for the iPad only.

Three beat competition to confirming white iPhone 4 availability
With the white rendition of the Apple iPhone 4 now officially confirmed as heading for a global release tomorrow, April 28th, Three has become the first UK network to confirm it will stock the lighter toned device.

Confirming it will host the device via the official Three blog, an official spokesperson for the company declared: “I’ve got some exciting news to share with you all. It’s been a long time coming but the iPhone 4 in white is finally on its way to Three. It’ll be available from us from tomorrow.”

Set to land with the same array of specs as the current black iPhone 4 including the luscious 3.5-inch Retina display, dual cameras and the ARM A4 processor, the soon to be available white model will also replicate the price plan Three offer for the original device with 24 month contracts starting from as little as £25 per month.

Available for £499.99 on a PAYG basis with a £15 top up snagging consumers 300 minutes, 3,000 texts and all-you-can-eat date, the long awaited white iPhone will also touch down on Three’s The One Plan with £35 per month securing unlimited data, 2,000 any network minutes, 5,000 Three to Three minutes and 5,000 texts per month.

PSN users should 'cancel credit cards immediately'

Reacting to the news that all 77 million PlayStation Network users could have had their credit card details stolen in the recent global hack, security specialist Sophos has issued a warning saying all PSN users should “cancel that card immediately.”

Having taken down the PlayStation Network last week following the now well publicised hack of the service, Sony recently revealed that this infiltration has made the personal data of those signed up to the service, including its 3 million UK users, vulnerable to attack. If you're a user of Sony's PlayStation Network, now isn't the time to sit back on your sofa and do nothing," announced Graham Cluely from Sophos.

Expanding on the imminent concerns Cluely added: "The fraudsters won't wait around - for them this is a treasure trove ripe for exploiting. You need to act now to minimise the chances that your identity and bank account become casualties following this hack."

"That means, changing your online passwords (especially if you use the same password on other sites), and considering whether it would be prudent to inform your bank that as far as you're concerned your credit card is now compromised."

Discussing the continued outage of the PSN service and the potentially damaging effect this could have on the safety of users’ information the Sophos security head said: "What's particularly frustrating for users of the PSN is that anybody unsure of what information is stored against their account such as personal information, card details and password reset answers won't know until the service is back online.

"It's crucial that access is restored as soon as possible so that users can confirm what information might have been compromised."

iTunes music streaming: Apple planning fees

Apple could follow Spotify and Qriocity lead, rather than go free like Amazon.
Apple’s cloud-based music streaming service is set to cost, according to music industry insiders. The sources, speaking with Cnet, claim that Apple will charge a fee after initially offering its package for free.

As yet, it’s unclear whether Apple will offer a simple digital locker package along the lines of Amazon’s Cloud Drive, or if it will look to add to such a feature with Spotify-style streaming.

Currently, Amazon’s Cloud Drive is free for the first 5GB of storage, with punters having to pay if they wish to store more of their music on the retailer’s servers. Seeing as Apple, unlike Amazon, is negotiating with record labels over the streaming of songs, a monthly or annual cost for using its service would not come as a major surprise.

Google is also expected to launch its own cloud-based music offering in 2011, although talks appear to have stalled. Will Apple beat them to the punch? And will you be willing to pay for iTunes cloud?

Apple iPod / iPhone tracking issue

Last week an announcement of a hidden file on iPods and iPhones was revealed which tracks where people have been.

People feel this is a breach of privacy to the extent of people are able to know where they have been if they have some knowledge of how to hack to get this file.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs has finally fired back at these claims that this ability to track users could be used by others.

Steve has finally fired back at these claims from Google saying "We dont track anyone The info circulating around is false" giving a reassuring piece of information for users worried if they are being followed.

iPad 3 Processor Likeliness

Apple’s iPad 3 will have to feature a quadcore processor in order to keep up with the tablet competition, Football Manager boss Miles Jacobson has told T3.

the Sports Interactive director said. “We have very good relationships with a lot of chipset and hardware manufacturers who’ve given us their roadmaps, and they’re drool-worthy.”

I know the iPad 2 just came out a few months ago but do you think Apple is going to go for quad-core processors to show there dominance in the tablet market ?

Or do you think Duel-Core is staying for the next generation tablet.
